2008 717 MUSIC AWARDS
Over the course of 2007 through 2008 we came to the conclusion that the awards show should reflect the area we are in instead of calling it The Doctors office awards. Thus the 717 Music Awards were born. For the second year of the awards we also decided to scale down the performances to only 7 bands performing 30 minute sets.

The year was headlined by Hierosonic which was the first time 717E had worked w/ the band.
Moto Guzzi featured Ducky Duke who also performed in The Masquerade and most recently Ducky & The Vintage.
Bob performed for the first time at an Awards show.
The poster featured Mickey Valentine who sang in the Baltimore band Beretta Jane who was scheduled to perform at the event. The day of the event there was a phone call made stating Mickey would be spending the weekend in Jail. Run lists at the show which already included Beretta Jane already had in Parenthesis "Singer in Jail". Still the most Rock n Roll cancellation in 717 Music Awards Show history.
THE YEAR OF HIEROSONIC
The Show was Headlined by Hierosonic who also won 4 awards which is still to this day the most awards in one night. These two facts have since dubbed this show the year of Hierosonic
