Another rather odd, getting my feet wet again year in 2018. Started out by being asked to do a Millennium Music Conference showcase which was something I had gone back and forth on for many years. Before starting the business the MMC was something I’d go to yearly and i’d go multiple nights. So on one hand it was awesome being asked but… lets just leave it there. It was cool to be asked and I think I put together a pretty rad lineup that night. I also started doing First Friday’s w/ Scott Church and that’s something I absolutely loved doing. It had some a great vibe every month and it was something I’ll never forget doing. HMAC was under fire for some legal things which kept me out of there until later in the year so when I started booking that year it was no turning back as you can see 4 shows on two consecutive weekends. You’ll also see in 2019 it was my biggest year yet. In september I was asked to be the music coordinator of the Recovery Rising event at Amethyst put together by my lovely wife. They say never work w/ your spouse but I disagree because it was an amazing experience. Finally there was a bit of a changing of the gaurd as 2018 saw the last ever Super Bob show under the 717 Entertainment Banner. I miss those guys dearly and miss watching them peroforming so much but super happy for them in life as they’ve all found happiness outside of music. Ironically the very next weekend I booked Green Jelly for the first time and as you’ll learn that band has become pretty special to me and the company…
