This is a an absolutely brutal EP. The breakdowns are very Kublai Khan Like. They even have the same downside of a Kublai Khan EP which is its to short. Songs like “Big Man Stomp” and “Choke” are impossible to not bang your head too. The crunching guitars w/ the growling vocals blend perfectly. Could Not suggest this EP more.

LYNDHURST - “DEAR ANXIETY”

This is a pop punk masterpiece. The one thing about EP’s is its hard to get going but this one does. Songs like “Let In, Let Down” and the single “Criminal” have those great sing along chorus’s. The capper is their stellar cover of the Rick Ashley classic “Never Gonna Give You Up”.

TAKE THE NAME - “RELIVING TRAUMA”

Take the Name has been flying under the radar for a few years now. I think with this EP they are ready to break out. Every song could be a single. Singles “Kerosene” and “Invincible” are the stand out tracks that I’d match w/ any top ten radio single currently. Look for this EP to gather alot of attention for this band.

NO FIGHT NO VICTORY - “PLOT ARMOR”

No FIght No Victory has come out of nowhere w/ this EP. Fast paced, action packed and full of guitar. The breakdowns are brutal and the vocals are strong. I can’t wait to see what’s next for this band.

ULTRAVIOLENT - “AFTERMATH”

Its been 5 years since the last release from Ultraviolent. The wait was worth every minute. Its only 3 songs but every one of them is a banger. its a straight forward assault and you’ll find yourself listening to it over and over.

DEFIANT - “IGNITE”

The kings of straight forward metal punk have struck again. Every song is somehow a radio friendly track despite being completely anti estrablishment. “I Don’t Wanna See Your Face” and “I Won’t Bite” are songs that are custom made for a movie soundtrack. Not to mention the brilliant cover of the Cure’s “Boys Don’t Cry”.
