22 23 Morning Star Festival 2010.jpg

FRIDAY JUNE 18TH 2010
&
SATURDAY JUNE 19TH

The event would take a hiatus in 2009 for some restructuring.  2010 saw the festival return in a major way, breaking down barriers as the first ever multi-day show held by 717 Entertainment.  The show went away from the early start time from the original and instead featured two nights full of bands both starting around 7:30.  The event was again of course headlined by Bob who closed out Saturday night, while Afreudianslip would handle Friday night duties.

FRIDAY NIGHT FEATURED ACT: AFREUDIANSLIP

Afreudianslip were making a lot of noise in the Baltimore Region and Naturally that led us to want to bring them up to The Central PA area. Nick had been down to see the band in Maryland numerous times and forged a friendship w/ them which made it even easier to bring them up. They closed out Friday night w/ a Blistering performance filled w/ tracks from their Debut album “The Accused”

THE OTHER ACTS FROM FRIDAY NIGHT:
SUICIDE PUPPETS - Metal Legends from Harrisburg who as of this writing are currently on tour w/ Soulfly
ABSOLUTION - One of Scranton’s favorite sons, who toured w/ Taproot among Others
NINETAIL- One of the best Metal bands to ever come out of York Pennsylvania
DEATHMASCHINE - One of the longest Reigning industrial acts from Central PA
DROP OF GREY - First ever recipient of the Best New Artists at the 717 Awards.

SATURDAY NIGHT FEATURED ACT: BOB

Bob would once again headline their festival. The band was only gaining traction and would fill the entire floor of Gullifty’s Underground for this latest appearance.

THE OTHER ACTS FROM SATURDAY NIGHT:
TWELVE AFTER - Lancaster Metal Mainstays and now featuring members of From Ashes To New
7TH LAYER - One of the longest and most popular Central PA hip hop acts in recent memory
THE TAKEN - Featuring Members of Deja Vudoo and would become one of our most booked acts ever
