We’ve decided to once again come together w/ the Star Wars fans and celebrate the day. This year we are doing it a little different as we are tipping a few back w/ some Metal Bands!!!!
PIGWEED
PigWeed is an alternative Nu-metal style band from San Antonio, Texas. Formed in 2009 by Mauricio "Mo" Ortega (guitar / vocals) and David "Big D" Magallanez (vocals), some say, reinventing the Nu-Metal style with an unsurpassed sound that some claim is “Nu-metal with a modern twist”. Guitarist, Danny "Funky" Young, adds some of that funk and groove that'll make you move. Corey "Chuggs" Epps joined on guitars and brought that PW flavor that you'll never forget. Walter "Thor" Moreno, on drums, with his two thunderous hammers, brings it every night. Alex "DoughBoy" Canales, previously tour manager, stepped up and stepped in with his backing vocals. He brings in that extra shot of energy that makes you want to just move your whole body to the music. Last, but not least, our brother Bryan “Footz” Henderson jumped back into the family and plays that beat to our heart, our bassist.
