In early 2019 CEO of 717 Entertainment Nick Meyers went to meet w/ Scott Church at his At studio in Lebanon PA. The meeting was something entirely different but it landed upon the idea of doing a first Friday event every first Friday in an attempt to slow.

The first ever band to perform at First Friday was Split Pistols. They would go on to become one of the house favorites and ended up headlining the Final one a year later.
