MR. LUGOSI

This group of freaks were established in 2018 when the lead vocalist Macy Fox had a vision of a modern post-apocalyptic shock rock band. Macy searched far and wide to find like-minded musicians who were willing to step inside his creative vision. Macy, being an old horror film admirer, named the band Mr. Lugosi after Bella Lugosi (The original Dracula). Daniel Hale had performed with Macy in previous bands and was the first to join Mr. Lugosi. Mr. Lugosi began writing and recording in Boulder, Colorado with Dusty Boles, formerly of the band “Make Me Famous”. The single and music video of “Captain Howdy” was released on December 1st, 2018.

In 2019, Marc Lamb came into the picture followed by guitarist Daniel Monroe (Karloff). Marc had also performed with Macy in previous bands. Mr. Lugosi began playing live shows and quickly gained traction by performing in Lexington, KY with Powerman 5000, HedPE, Adema, and others.

The band released its debut EP “Drink You” in May of 2022.
