The Bunkhouse is an old VIntage record shop turned into a diy music venue featuring a stage and not much more. The room is fantastic and Vintage looking. Its perfect for smaller acts coming through the area looking for a place to play.

The relationship w/ the legendary chameleon club was just forming w/ 717 Entertainment after over 10 years of people asking. We brought in PIG to the lizard Lounge and the show as a huge success. Sadly w/ the Covid pandemic the venue would close up before we were able to book a second show there.

With Gulliftys Closing down the room was turned into Cliff’s Tavern. The set up was the same but the vibe was completely different. We did one show there which would be our Annual “August Assault” show Featuring September Mourning, Kaliedo, Charcoal Toungue and More. The show was a great success but the feeling of Gullifty’s wasn’t there and 717 Entertainment would not book another show there.

The Depot was thought to be a new home for 717 Entertainment as we held a few solid shows at the venue including Projekt F, A Light Divided and was the first time we would work w/ Kali Ma and The Garland of Arms. We were in talks to be bringing more shows to the Depot as we wanted to fill the room w/ possible nationals however the venue would end up turning into a nightclub of sorts before eventually closing down.

DRAGONFLY NIGHTCLUB

Dragonfly was known as the mainstay venue on 2nd street in Harrisburg and would usually have club type nights however when we were attempting to branch out and spread our wings so to speak we wanted a bigger room and bigger stage to Put Havok in Hollywood on. The lineup of our only show there was HIH along w/ The Drama Club, Nimbus, Lotus Blue and Anamide from Baltimore. The owner and 717 CEO did not hit it off and there would only be one show at the venue by 717 Entertainment.

Gulliftys’ was our original home as it was the venue that 717 Entertainment put on the first show ever and also all 7 of our 717 Music Awards. We brought bands like Taproot, Primer 55, Psychostick and 40 Below Summer to the venue. Locals including Observe The 93rd, Hierosonic, Small Town Titans and so many more. This was the first place in PA that would see Bob (Later Super Bob) perform live. Rebel Inc, Tapered Mind and countless other regional bands would grace the stage of the Underground. The stories the walls would tell if they could talk would be legendary. Without Gullifty’s Underground there would be no 717 Entertainment. Special Thanks to the Eisenhower Family for giving 717 Entertainment its birth. Matt, Joe and the entire family. Thanks to Kyle Taylor (of Julian Fist) for the suggestion to work there and Leo Nessinger (Underwater, Halestorm) for introducing myself to Matt Eisenhower where it all began.

When Gullifty’s closed, 717 Entertainment was looking for a new venue to call home. Tubby’s was beginning to look like a possible home however after doing only 1 show there it burned down and has not been rebuilt to this day. Enter Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center. In what was the darkest time w/ the closing of Gulliftys, fire at Tubby’s and Controversy at HMAC, 717 Entertainment was able to be one of the only promotional company willing to put shows on at the venue. Brining huge name acts including Stabbing Westward, Crash Test Dummies, Jimmies Chicken Shack and old friends in From Ashes To New. These shows were mixed w/ local and regional showcase events that 717 has always been known for. Overall the company has done over 100 shows at HMAC. Mid Nationals like Green Jelly (who 717 CEO Nick plays guitar in), King 810 and more as well. He’s filled 2/3 of the Capital room upstairs and packed the stage on her on numerous occasions. You could consider this the second era of 717 Entertainment, the HMAC era.

As of June 2024 we’ve held one show at JB Lovedrafts down town in Harrisburg. The venue is a small 100 cap room that hosts mostly metal shows and has no entry fee. its designed to grab the group of people off second st. We look forward to using this venue more in the future.
165 Gateway Dr. Mechanicsburg, PA 17055
We were looking to expand amongst the changes being put in to place at HMAC and low and be hold a new venue would open up in Mechanicsburg. Lovedrafts is an awesome 500 cap room that can be used for all genres and all types of shows. The staff is friendly, the food is awesome and the beer is always on tap. The shows can be set up for All Ages, 18+ or 21+ depending on the show.

The Annual Millennium Music Conference was being put on and the main stage was at Blarney’s in Mechanicsburg. 717 Entertainment was asked to compile the bands for the basement and sort of underground portion of the show. We Came up w/ a Lineup that included Haela, Behind The Grey, Voidhidden and more.

In looking to expand a bit from the Mechanicsburg / Harrisburg area 717 Entertainment seeked out Phantom Power, owned by former Chameleon Club guy Greg Barley. We didn’t slip in either we went in heavy w/ an Evening Sun Festival headlined by Sponge. A 9 band bill for our first show at the venue. We look forward to more.

Racehorse Owner James DeLlisio reached out to 717 Entertainment and after a few games of phone tag the two had finally connected. 717 Absolutely loves the Racehorse Tavern. We’ve had some amazing local bands play there including Eternal Frequency, Defiant, Kamikaze Kupcakes as well as regional favorites like Rise Among Rivals, Mojo Bozo’s Electric Circus and 2BB. We fully expect this union to blossom in 2022.

ROCK KAT
The Rock Kat was Tubby’s before it was Tubby’s. We were introduced by doing one of the first big National shows there which would be Saliva. We honestly didn’t gel to well w/ the management at the time so we would not do to many shows there, when it became Tubby’s and we were introduced to the two owners our relationship changed for the better. We would go on to do two shows there, the Saliva show and then Cheezy and The Crackers would headline a night there.

Before Scott Church had “The Church” it was just Scott Church Studios and shows were being held out back in the garage w/ the perfectly built in stage. Scott had a vision of First Friday shows each month and he had a promoter in mind. 717 Entertainment was first on his list. We would do numerous shows there which included the debut Performance by Eternal Frequency as well as Another Day Dawns, Defiant, Mojo Bozo’s Electric Circus, The Stonewall Vessels, After The Broken, Split Pistols, Haela and Kamikaze Kupcakes. You never knew what would happen at a First Friday and we always had a great time.

It had been a few years since we worked w/ Scott Church and the venue in Lebanon. In that time the shows were moved from the garage to the gallery and the name has been changed to “The Church”. When we were in a pinch w/ a show we reached out to Reese and the crew at the Church welcomed us back w/ open arms to do a show there. We can’t wait to do more.
SMALLS CLUB
Smalls was a little punk rock bar on 2nd street that you could fit about 70-80 people in. It wasn’t around that long and we were only able to ever do one show there but it was very meaningful. We used it to have Bob headline in Central PA for the first time ever. The show had probably 50 or so people which looked great in that small room, other acts were Drop of Grey and Torn from Red.

During the time when Gulliftys had closed and Tubby’s burned to the ground we were looking for new venues which was ironic because we always wanted to branch out, however it was those two events that sort of forced our hands. The Tourist inn was one on the list and we hit it off great. The first time 717 Entertainment booked Green Jelly it was at the Tourist Inn. We’ve had Kissing Candace, Destruct Principle, Kamikaze Kupcakes, Flaw, Defending Cain and More. the TI is a second home for 717 Entertainment and it will remain that way, we hope for a long time.

Tubby’s was a club that we attempted to book and things didn’t go great when it was Rock Kat. Eventually we would be introduced to the husband / wife combo who own the club and we got along famously w/ them. We booked one show w/ Flaw, Source, Righteous Vendetta, Feltsideout, 1818 and Behind the Grey and it was great. We also Debuted Super Bob at the Club. We absolutely loved working w/ them so much that it became family w/ one show. The venue would burn down and has not been rebuilt. We love the Brittelli’s.
